Location and activity
The Île d’Yeu has a very busy port called Port Joinville, in which CIM is established.
Since 1st January 2006, CIM has been managing the hydrocarbon depot through a leasing agreement with the Municipality and distributes oil products on the island.
The depot has a total capacity of 790m³ and was previously operated by TOTAL. It stores automobile fuel, fishing boat diesel and household fuel, products for a varied clientele: resellers, petrol stations, maritime and marina cooperative.
Supplied by ship from the Donges refinery, the product is then transported by tanker truck or pipeline to its final place of delivery.
CIM has therefore continued its development and diversification by integrating this activity, both upstream from and downstream to oil product storage, at this magnificent site.
